Absolutely the worst medical experience I’ve ever had.
I drove 40 minutes from out of town for this appointment with Dr. Mosbacker and left an hour early to account for traffic, but unfortunately it was worse than expected. I called the office before they opened and again before my actual appointment time to let them know I’d be about 20 minutes late for check-in, not the appointment itself. The person on the phone said they would let the assistant know and that it would be fine.
When I arrived, I had to wait in a long check-in line, which delayed me further. When the assistant came out, she was clearly irritated. I apologized, but she was dismissive and curt, telling me they would still see me but that they would now have to rush. After waiting a month for this appointment, that was incredibly disappointing to hear.
The doctor came in already frustrated and cold. I tried to apologize again, and he ignored me completely. I have worked in the medical field for 30 years and understand how late arrivals can throw off a schedule, but compassion still matters. I had no intention of being late, and I was not late for the actual appointment time. I called ahead out of respect for their time. I would have gladly rescheduled if it meant receiving better care.
Instead, I felt dismissed, rushed, and not cared for. Even when I was clearly upset there was no compassion shown, just dismissive behavior from him and his assistant. The doctor disregarded my concerns, contradicted a previous diagnosis without clear explanation, and just wanted to push big pharma at the problem without a full picture. His bedside manner was cold and unprofessional at best.
To make matters worse, I was told I cannot switch providers for my follow-up. This whole experience was not only disheartening, but also unprofessional. Patients deserve to be treated as human beings, not inconveniences.
On a positive note the phlebotomist, x-ray tech, and ladies at check out were very kind. They could tell I was upset and were very compassionate.

Dr. Zuniga-Montes is knowledgeable and friendly. When he speaks, he is not rushing. He explains things patiently, and makes sure his patient understands what was said. He answered all patient’s questions.

I highly recommend Dr Rosenberg and Arthritis Associates. I have had only the best experience with all the staff, lab techs and Dr Rosenberg. He has always taken the time needed to evaluate my care and reevaluate any new issues that may arise. I appreciate the years I’ve had with them and feel fortunate with the care I’ve received.
