About Dr. Molina
Rodolfo Molina, MD, is an expert, board-certified rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He works with people ages 12 and older and enjoys helping them reduce pain and achieve a better quality of life. Dr. Molina is dual board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
He earned his medical degree and completed an internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He finished his medical training with a rheumatology fellowship at John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Molina received a United States Air Force scholarship. During his nine years of active duty, he was a chief and program director for rheumatology in a pilot program with Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. After being honorably discharged as a lieutenant colonel, he began his San Antonio-based private practice.
He is a founder and past president of the State of Texas Association of Rheumatologists (STAR). Dr. Molina is a president of Arthritis Associates in San Antonio and a member of the Bexar County Socioeconomic and Legislative Committee. He remains politically active on a state and national level.
Dr. Molina has served as a member of the Affiliate Society Council (ASC), Chair of the Insurance Subcommittee, Board of Directors for the American College of Rheumatology, Board of Directors for Rheumatology Research Foundation, and Master of the American College of Rheumatology, which is the highest award the college can give a member.
He maintains his medical credentials by staying up-to-date with the latest advances in rheumatology. Dr. Molina welcomes patients to Arthritis Associates and looks forward to caring for them.
