After completing his Undergraduate degree at Perdue University in Indiana, Dr. Gerald Rosenberg, a St. Louis native, received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from The St. Louis University School of Medicine. He then moved to San Antonio to complete his Internship and Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology back at The St. Louis University School of Medicine.
He began his private practice as a Rheumatologist in 1983 here in San Antonio at Arthritis Associates located in the Medical Center. Arthritis Associates is a six physician, state-of-the-art Rheumatology clinic complete with High-Complexity Laboratory, Digital Radiology, DEXA, and Infusion Therapy Suite. Dr. Rosenberg is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and has been involved in many clinical trials that have led to many new therapies and medicines in use today.
Dr. Rosenberg’s patients know him as a patient and caring doctor. Although the majority of his patients are adults, Dr. Rosenberg cares for many juvenile patients in South Texas. Dr. Rosenberg has a strong relationship with The Arthritis Foundation and promotes patient education and advocates for patient’s rights.
